Solutions For Youth Has Fulfilled 100th Request

In November, our Solutions for Youth Fund team was able to fulfill Red Bluff High School’s ONE HUNDREDTH REQUEST! This fund was created to help supply local homeless and at-risk teens with necessary items to even the playing field during their high school careers. We could not continue this mission without the help and support of people like YOU!

From a 15-year-old male… “Thank you so much for the work boots, jacket and pants, it is starting to get cold and this will help me so much!” This student was couch surfing he is now staying with a friend, he works hard has all college prep classes and works a few hours a week at a local auto shop. He is hardworking and dedicated to better himself and not let the chaos of his life ruin his positivity. He gave me a huge hug when I gave him the items, thank you for that. “

Giving Trees From The Solutions For Youth Fund

Without our community sponsors, we would not be able to make this happen for the homeless and at-risk youth in our community. Local businesses opened their doors for us in a big way this Christmas season and allowed us to place giving trees in their storefronts. Each tree had a donation envelope telling the story of Solutions for Youth and how it has impacted the youth in our community. While building a reputation of giving and adding more schools in the North State, the requests coming from schools has not slowed down. We need your help! From a 16-year-old male…“Thanks for everything, but especially for the shoes, this old ones have holes and I was not looking forward to walking in them in the rain.” This student has been sleeping in a tent with his family, they are in the process (hopefully) of getting into an apartment this week! He is so appreciative of everything that was given to him, he has a caring and genuine attitude he does not take anything for granted.”
