Core Mental Health Services

Individual Therapy

Our licensed and credentialed clinicians provide individual therapy to help youth address trauma, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. We use evidence-based approaches such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Helping youth recognize and change negative thought patterns.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills – Teaching emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
  • Trauma-Informed Therapy – Addressing the impact of past trauma on mental health and behavior.

Therapy is tailored to each client’s needs and is designed to help increase coping skills, build resilience, and improve overall emotional well-being.

The Seven Challenges® Program – Youth Substance Use Treatment

The Agency is a certified Seven Challenges® provider, offering youth-focused substance use treatment. The Seven Challenges is an evidence-based, holistic approach that helps young people develop self-awareness about their substance use while empowering them to make positive, healthy decisions.

Key Components of The Seven Challenges®:

  • Engages youth in honest conversations about their substance use.
  • Supports mental health and co-occurring disorders through integrated treatment.
  • Encourages self-reflection on past choices and future goals.
  • Builds coping skills for managing stress, peer pressure, and emotional challenges.
  • Provides individualized support for youth at various stages of change.

This program is particularly beneficial for youth in foster care, transitional housing, and community settings who may be struggling with past trauma, environmental stressors, or peer influences.

Intensive Home-Based Services (IHBS)

IHBS provides individualized, strength-based mental health interventions in the home, school, and community to support youth with severe emotional or behavioral challenges. This service is designed to:

  • Prevent placement disruptions and stabilize youth in their current living environment.
  • Promote skill-building in emotional regulation, problem-solving, and social interactions.
  • Provide caregiver coaching and support to strengthen family relationships and improve overall functioning.

IHBS Services Include:

Intensive Care Coordination (ICC)

ICC provides structured, team-based case management for youth with significant mental health and behavioral health needs. The goal of ICC is to ensure all involved service providers, family members, and caregivers are working collaboratively to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan that best supports the youth’s well-being.

ICC Services Include:

ICC is particularly beneficial for youth with high-level mental health needs, those at risk of placement disruption, or those requiring significant multi-system coordination to support stability and healing.

Intensive Case Management (ICM)

ICM is designed for youth with high levels of need who require ongoing, structured case management to ensure they receive consistent and coordinated care. This service ensures that youth remain engaged in their treatment plan and that all necessary resources are accessed efficiently.
